They compute and interpret theoretical and experimental probabilities to make decisions, and use data and simulation for statistical inference. In geometry they prove theorems about lines, angles, and polygons, build a formal understanding of similarity, extend it to trigonometry of all triangles, study angles and segments in circles, apply area and volume formulas, and connect algebra to geometry through conic sections.

There is one later window. At University High School, a student who earns an A in both semesters of Math II in grade 10 and has a teacher recommendation can apply for the district summer HS Math Bridge; passing it leads to AP Precalculus in grade 11.
