Which Irvine students is the boot camp for?

Can a personal statement really be finished in two weeks?
Yes, as a completed draft. The Common App essay has a 650-word limit, so the difficulty is topic and structure rather than length. The ten days move from story discovery through structure into line-by-line revision, and every student also receives 1-on-1 guidance.
What if the student has no idea what to write about?
Topic discovery is the first stage of the camp. Most students are not short of material; they retell events in sequence instead of shaping them. Targeted questions and short writing exercises surface usable stories, and then we judge which one can carry 650 words.
How do Irvine families choose between the two services?
