How many sessions are there, and when?
Five two-week sessions run from early June to mid August in Irvine, on half-day schedules. Classes hold 6 to 8 students, and children are grouped by the grade they will enter in fall 2026 rather than the grade they have just finished.
How are Irvine camp groups divided?
Into three, each with its own courses. G1–G2 has Bookworm Detectives reading and Little Logic Monsters. G3–G5 has Singapore Math G5, speech and debate, reading club, and academic writing. G6–G8 has speech and debate, reading club, academic writing, and G7 Math Bridge or Singapore Math G6.
What does full-day enrollment include for Irvine families?
One of two options: extended care, or free lunch with midday supervision. Families choose between them at the time of enrollment, and the two are not combined. Camp classes themselves run on half-day schedules, so the choice applies to families staying the full day.
Which math classes are offered?
Singapore Math G5 for grades 3 to 5, G7 Math Bridge or Singapore Math G6 for grades 6 to 8, and Little Logic Monsters for the youngest group. All of them are described on the Singapore Math and Math Bridge page.
Do Irvine families have other summer options?
Alongside the academic camps there are the APAAS sprint, ISEE boot camps, AMC intensives, the SAT boot camp, and AP pre-study. These run on their own calendars and can be scheduled together with camp sessions across the June to August window.
